bike wheelsets

Is there any way for cyclists buying wheelsets to identify the cyclist weight limit for each brand/model?
I see many newbies trying to dispose the stock wheelsets after a short usage (found them a little too heavy to their liking)
All bikes are imported from overseas where the average cyclist weight are much heavier. Hence the stock wheelsets design
Local cyclists soon have to look for lighter and more comfortable replacements
Any guide to identify the right wheelsets at the local bike shop?
I had replace the original tubular wheelsets as I find clincher easier to handle/repair when there is a puncture.
However, some poor quality basic wheelsets simply warped with hard braking, and I have to replace them again
Luckily I got semi-aero wheelsets and its happy cycling until I am considering a second pair of wheelsets dedicated to competition, that I got stuck (only aware that 20-622 more suitable for smaller sized like me, not the 23-622 most people use on road bikes
i think they do not list out thinks like maximum loads on the wheelsets. all wheelsets will take on massive loads.
even high performance wheels that has less than 20 spokes should hold a person over 100kilos fairly easily.
the thing to consider here is whether the wheel will flex from side to side due to less spokes from swaying the bike when you are out of the saddle or the rear wheel drive side will flex if you put down too much power on the pedals.
reliability and lightness has a relation as where i would like to think the lighter a wheel is the less reliable over a long term or crash it will be. you have to find a balance on what you want ultimately for a wheel.

bike parts wheel

where do i start with a fixed wheel bike?
okay im pretty new to the bike stuff. i dont know much of the terms, parts, and names. i want to get a fixie, but i dont really know hwere to start. i read around so bianchi piastas or whatever and the khs flite 100, but i honestly dont know if i want to spend that much so far. how do i get started? thanks
Here is a cheap easy way to get into riding one. You can get a rear wheel with a flip/flop hub that will allow you to have a fixed gear on one side and a single gear with coasting ability on the other.

Schwinn came out with a fixed gear bike called the Cutter.

You can convert a road bike over to a fixed gear bike but you have to get around the hub and the chain tension problem created by the vertical drop out for the rear axle. Here is one of the best sources for fixed gear bikes.

You can find a lot of good info by Googling “Fixed Gear Bicycle”
